★Synopsis:
William is a writer returning to his hometown after a traumatic separation from his wife. He reconnects with Kelly, a woman from his past. Nick is a member of the Loser’s Club and is crippled by his anxieties and insecurities. Nick has fallen in love with the same Kelly William has begun to see, putting him on a collision course to destroy her. The characters from Williams most recent story have a different idea. Sometimes there are no happy endings…
★Excerpt: Oh, dear God! While she was sleeping, this man was murdering her husband! As she tried to crawl to the door, she knew with certainty that no matter how much she crawled, she was never going to make it to the door. He was on the last step now, and in the dim light of the kitchen, she could see that he was holding a machete. He was bending down so that he could see her close up. His face was hidden by a plain white mask. As he knelt down next to her, he chuckled softly. His hand caressed her cheek as if they had been lovers.
